The Florida Wrap

Finally finished! This project is a wrap I began back in September of 2006. My sister was visiting from St. Petersburg, Florida for the Labor Day Holiday. We were talking about crocheting and knitting and I showed her all of my finished knitted projects. She got excited and named a few things she would like to have. One item she named was a wrap. She said a wrap would be nice for when the weather in Florida becomes cool and for those cool restaurants. The yarn is Berroco Soft Twist in taupe. It took around 11 skeins to make. The length could have been longer. I thought it turned out ok for my first wardrobe project (other than a scarf). I made up the pattern myself after looking through knit books for the perfect stitch combinations. The pattern is free.
